TheCuddles555, Your mask is nearly finished. ________________________________________ Music ——————————— Song: Iowa – Artist: Slipknot – —————————————- Finally done with this mask! Haha! Gosh, so much procrastination. Some people finish masks in days, maybe a week. For me, it seems to take months! Haha! I’m always afriad of screwing something up, so I always hold off on airbrushing the mask for a looooong time. Bad habit that I need to get rid of. Hopefully the next couple of masks I make will not be the same way. Was watching “Lord of the Rings” recently and I remember in the movie there was this giant eye. The name of it, him, or whatever it is, escapes me haha. I just remember it was like “WOAH. That thing is cool.” Haha. So the eye on the back of Abomination’s head is definitely influenced by that. Painting it was a huge pain. I put the PSI to 10 and tried to paint the little yellow and orange dots. The airbrush kept on going “pffffftttt” and little bits of ammonia just spurted out of the damn thing and screwed up everything haha! So, I had to bump up the PSI to 30 and everything went up from there. The only thing I’m not thrilled with, is the pupil. I was going to just airbrush it real quick with a stencil, but I thought a toothpick would work better. I …
I’m pretty new to airbrushing, so this is just another new thing I’ve learned about my compressor. I’ve had this problem for quite a while. I felt pretty embarrassed seeing as it was an incredibly simple task, haha. Oh well, now that I know how it all works, I’m good to go. I know a couple of people may have had this problem as well, so I thought I’d share the solution! If, for some reason, the video doesn’t work, I’ll give the steps to adjusting the PSI below. 1. You should see a big black knob on your airbrush compressor. The Regulator. Pull it up. 2. Once you have pulled it up, turn it to the clockwise to increase the PSI, or turn it to the counter-clockwise to decrease it. Or visa versa, based on your compressor. 3. Push down the Regulator to lock it. This way, whenever you turn on the compressor, it will always be set to that PSI. Hope I helped! ~Shadow
At Best-Decals.com we sell airbrush stencils for guitar modification and decoration. This video shows just how simple it is to use our stencils, that even a child can do it. In fact I apply the stencil in this video using just my left hand (I’m right handed) so if you have two free hands, it should be a piece of cake, provided you FOLLOW OUR INSTRUCTIONS. Make sure your surface is completely clean and free of any chemicals, dirt, grease or other liquid. Make sure your surface is completely cured if you used varnish or clear coat. Video 2 of 2
Songs – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – Autopsy: Dark Crusade Autopsy: Ridden with Disease shadowmakerofmasks: Electric Trauma. I do not own Autopsy, I don’t own their songs, they’re not mine, so wabam. Glad to get that cleared out of the way. That sure is a long title… Anyhoo, decided to make a video of me putting the finishing touches on Ghost. I still have to put a light shade of black over the corners of the screen, but I won’t make a video of that. I feel like I’ve wasted way to much time on Ghost, but my armature is broken anyways. After I finish the paintjob on Facial Infestation, I probably won’t make videos for awhile. If I do, they’ll be mostly half masks. That isn’t necessarily a bad thing though. I like the fact that you can let your hair hang in front of the mask. It gives it more character. A psychotic look to it. It’s pretty cool! I don’t know when I’ll be done with facial infestation, but I don’t think I’ll be making an airbrush video for him. I might, but most likely not. He should look cool in the end though. I have honestly no clue what to do next besides paint Facial Infestation. College starts in about 2 weeks for me, so I might prepare for that. As far as the half masks, just stay tuned for those because I’ve got so many that I would love to make. Darker creations. Frowning faces. Different monsters from desolate places. It should be, horrific
. Stay alert, and stay tuned! ~Shadow

I know that the next Abomination video was expected, but this cast had been lying around my room for the longest time and I simply just had to paint it. Came out much better than I even expected it to! Compared it to the first cast to see how far I’ve come. I noticed a shit load of self improvement haha! It really made my day. As far as Abomination, I probably won’t be able to paint him for a couple of day. My sculpting final is next week and I’m trying to hurry it along so I can get back to mask making. Hopefully I’ll be done soon. I may paint other masks in between Abomination such as Cynical Circus, Ghost, Facial Infestation, Silent Soul, and Shadow. I have one blank of each of those masks and I thought I’d test out my airbrush on some old casts and compare them to my old masks. Should be fun! As far as the un-named mask, still having a tough time naming the damn thing haha! I got tons of suggestions on the video to choose from. How will I pick? I have no clue haha! I haven’t gotten to working on the sculpt either, but I will in my spare time. If I’m not airbrushing a mask. Which do you like better? The old version of “the horror” or the newer …
I’m trying to paint my guitar with something interesting, but i don’t want to pay for a stencil. I would like to find a website with a bunch of cool stencils that i could just print out, cut up and spray over. thanks!
