Music ——————— 1. Song: Cult of Static – Artist: Static-X – 2. Song: State 68 – Artist: Gorillaz – 3. Ominious Bloodvomit – Artist: Bloodbath – ————————— (Will update this later)

Music ———————- Song: Take this Life – Artist: In Flames – ————— Now that my armature is good to go, thought I’d start sculpting abomination. Already, in the early stages of this sculpt, I can tell this is going to be a wicked mask. On a completely different note, College is pretty damn awesome! My sculpting teacher unfortunately had no intentions to use clay in any of our projects. We’re working with stone carvings, as well as plaster. We’re doing metal crafting, welding, and those sorts of things as well. I may not be able to improve in the field of mask making, but I get to learn many different mediums! It’s pretty exciting. Back to the mask, I haven’t the slightest clue when It’ll be done. I don’t especially want to rush this mask either. It seems every single one of my masks, in the past, has been rushed. I might just take it slow with this one. I’ll update my progress in a day or two, and then I won’t update again until it’s done. Hopefully, he’ll come out great! Stay tuned! ~Shadow

An up close view of our personal “Demon Warrior” …Please check more videos.

(Update November 21st 2009) – These are going to be short for now. I’ll probably bulk them up later down the road. T-Minus-5 – 5 things I’m grateful for, looking towards the future, selflessness. Ghost – The effect of the media on kids and teens. Silent Soul – Speak up, don’t be another Silent Soul, you have a choice, you have a voice, you have a mouth; use it. ThE HoRRoR – Being bullied. Cynical Circus – (Sad high school experience) Abomination – (Infuriating high school experience) 12 – Karma, do something good, good things happen to you. Do something bad, bad things happen to you. Tengu (Demonized) – Out of the interest of japanese theatre. Tengu masks represent demons or apparitions. Swamp Boogie – Tribute to a man that had aa music page up on myspace a long time ago called “Swamp Boogie”. He was a one man band and had great riffs in his songs. One day, his myspace got deleted and he was never heard from again. It was a bummer. I was a big fan of his tunes. That’s pretty much it, haha! Smog Machine – My clever reference to cars. We’re polluting our earth, and we don’t seem to care. (If I forgot one, I’ll update this later) ~Shadow

Music ——————————- 1. Song: Focus Shift – Artist: Dark Tranquility – 2. Song: Monochromatic Stains – Artist: Dark Tranquility – ——————————— Holy hell, this video took three hours to upload. DAYUM! Haha. Anyways, there are a whole lotta things happening right now. Just got foam for my masks so now they don’t feel like latex. THANK GOD. Haha. So, all masks made from now on will have foam for EXTRA COMFORT. Yay. Moving on, I will be getting latex within this week! BOOYA! So now I will be making another cast of Abomination, as well as the extra cast of Silent Soul. I still haven’t the slightest idea of when I will be getting the inks, but as soon as I sell the first mask, the inks will be coming sooner. The inks are about 50 bucks so I’ve gotta sell both of the Silent Soul casts before I can purchase them. After I purchase the inks, I can finally paint Abomination! Mwahaha! I look forward to it. Moving on to the new mask; a clown. I thought it would be nice to change it up a bit. After all, every great mask maker has their take on clowns. However, I have a vision that cannot come to life on this particular armature. The nose is too damn big, The chin to is damn small, and there is so much to complain about, that I will refrain from doing so haha. I don’t think I’ll make the clown mask. As much as I’d like to, I just wouldn’t be happy with my sculpt. I wouldn’t have full control of the form. So, I’ll probably just sculpt random stuff

Music ———————————- 1. Song: Streamline – Artist: Newton – 2. Song: Dust in the Wind – Artist: Kanas – (“WTF Bomb” audio clip rights go to the owner. I do not own the “Shit Fucking Blows Up” picture either.) ————————- I apologize for all of the random clips, but I have so friggin’ many of them, and I have no clue what to do with them. The mold is pretty much done, but I have like no latex haha! I’ll try and get some soon. Hopefully I’ll be getting more materials. HOLY SHIT, I have some awesome news. I will finally be able to paint Abomination! HELL YEAH! I just need to add ammonia to my latex paints to thin them out. When they’re at a consistency, comparable to water, they will be able to flow smoothly out of my airbrush. I just read up on this recently, and seeing as I won’t be getting the inks soon, this will have to do for now. So yeah! Future videos (No guarantees): – Mask representations. Why I’m called Shadow. + Shadowmakerofmasks – Abomination Finished – Sketches and junk – How to lick your elbow with your tongue (maybe) Stay tuned! ~Shadow

My wider airbrush pistol for basecoating masks is only working held in a nearly 90° angle to the item I want to paint. So please tell me whats wrong with it if oyu know guys ;)

Songs used below ———————————– 1. Song: Technical Difficulties – Artist: Paul Gilbert – 2. Song: Firin’ Mah’ Lazor’ – Artist: Morbicae Before I upload Silent Soul part 2, thought I’d get this tutorial out of the way. I suppose this could be part 1, as I haven’t shown how to actually use it. Though, in Silent Soul part 2, I will be using an airbrush. I’ll try and cover everything you’ll need to do in Silent Soul part 2. Anyways, as far is this tutorial goes, I didn’t do the best job explaining. I’ll explain the steps below in taking it apart. 1. Unscrew the top needle to the point in which it is loose; counter clock-wise. 2. Tug back slightly on the end of the base needle. This is below the ball shaped support. 3. Unscrew the top needle completely and take it off it’s supporting base. 4. Set top needle aside. 5. Pull back the base through the ball shaped support. 6. Unscrew the aircap. 7. Clean all parts. If you are using acrylic paints, read up on what solvents to use. As far as latex, I know no cleaning methods. Sorry :( ! So thats how you clean it, sortofnotreally, so yeah! Sorry this didn’t seem incredibly informative but it was the only part that I personally had trouble with. I figured if other people might of had trouble with this part so I just wanted a visual representation. I’m personally a visual learner so, thought I’d make this easier for people. Hope I helped! Stay tuned! ~Shadow
