I am a high school student who, i’ll bluntly say it, loves cars! I love everything about them. Im big into muscle cars, old school american muscle.
One thing i have been doing for my entire life is art and I want to do something with it, i want to become a custom car artist/painter. All of the motorcycles and cars you see driving around with airbrush designs or pinstriping on cars, I want to do.
I just dont know where to start…
I’ve been designing tattoos for a few years now and was looking into becoming a tattoo artist, but i figured that might get a little dull for me eventually.
If anyone is in that field, have any tips for me to get started? it would be greatly appreciated! I want to start as soon as I can. Im a senior in high school and i was to start my career as soon as i can.
I just bought an airbrush and some books and videos on basic functions and techniques of airbrushing. Any standard acrylic paint will work? Would I have to water it down? With some special chemical? Or is it fine as is?
I am trying to customizing my own shoes by airbrushing them or painting them with paint that doesn’t peel off in the rain.
The shoes are leather air force ones
i want to get into painting graphics but everytime i want to shop for one something comes up and i spend my money, rent, family, bills so on and so on.
I would like to know where in Chicago or near by suburbs Edible Paint for airbrushing cake is sold. I have searched all over the net for a local place and I can’t find anyone close. It is also hard to find baking supply stores in the area. I would like to walk in and buy it as apposed to having it shipped. I need it asap. Please let me know if you know of any vendors in the Chicagoland area.
I’m building a F 22 model, and I’m using Testors Model Masters for airbrushing. I’m wondering if I could also airbrush a different color of Tamiya Acrylics over the Testors paint (or vice versa). Will I run into any problems (cracking paint, etc)?
can anybody recommend a good brand of paint for airbrushing? but, i dont want a paint i have to thin out myself. thanks
