Airbrushing Motorcycles

Time lapse of me airbrushing a Tee for a good friend of mine whose big on japanese artwork. Been a while since I broke out the airbrush so I figured why not record it. The signature at the end is “KOS” on the side, there arent any real chinese characters in there. Hope you enjoy. This vid also features a beat I made called “Madness”.

This is a paint job I did a while back, please note the backplate has been clear coated while the mask has still to be shot with clear.

A Digi Camo guide and tutorial to using masks and stencils for Airbrush work on some 15mm SCI-FI models from Critical Mass Games. The miniatures are 15mm 1/100th scale and will be used in the Gruntz SCI-FI wargame. It was my first attempt with this technique.

To my surprise, it got here in 3 days. Very happy with this product. This may be most likely because I’m a novice when it comes to airbrushing, but hey, it works well and that’s what I needed. So, after lounging around for a few days, I decided to proceed to the completion of T-Minus-5. However, I didn’t really do much at all. I made him look slightly more proportional, smoothed the surface to give it a shiny look, and that’s pretty much it. Most of the details in the original blueprint of this particular character will probably be left out considering that they don’t really fit with the whole 3D image of this mask. Plus, the original character’s mask was not exactly wearable. Over all, he came out pretty decent! If I do anything in correlation to the original character, I will most likely be painting it on. Like the 5′s on the forehead and the 5′s near the eye slits, and so on. I will most likely be making another T-Minus-5 mask later down the road when I’m more experienced with fine detail. For now, this mask will suffice. IN OTHER NEWS: Underbite came out alright and I’ll probably use him in another project. I might mount him on my wall or something. I wouldn’t want the latex to go to waste. The seam line of the most recent “ThE HoRRoR” copy was sadly not what I expected to be. We’re human, we make mistakes. So don’t make the mistake I did. If you have a bad seam-line, well then better luck next time because the “seam line trick” will just make it worse. I’ll use that particular copy as a canvas to practice airbrushing. Next mask coming up is: Ghost. HOWEVER, I do not possess the materials to make this mask at this time, so I may make a “mini mask” in …
